From the desk of Rabbi Leonard (Yehuda) Blank, MS, BCC Director of Chaplaincy Commission and External Affairs:
Though registration has only just begun, Rabbi Binyamin Hammer, Director of Rabbinic Services National Council of Young Israel and the Rabbinical Alliance of America already began registering people for the Amudim program on August 6th. Rabbi Zvi Gluck, who is also the founder of Amudim and will be the presenter for our Amudim program, shared with Rabbi Hammer and Rabbi Blank his enthusiasm in presenting the various critical issues and concerns facing many in our communities and best ways of recognizing the symptoms, how to give and get the help that is needed. Most of all there is hope and with the help of the Aibershta, help is on the way. Rabbi Gluck and Amudim receive their guidance from HaRav Elya Brudny shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY, who is their Mora D’asra. Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik Executive Vice President and the Hanhala of the RAA are truly excited with the Amudim program and other forthcoming events and programs being planned. On behalf of the Chaplaincy Commission members, it is highly recommend to register for the August 6th Amudim program ASAP because there is limited seating.
