Dear Rabbis,
Please mark your calendars for the Igud HaRabbonim/Rabbinical Alliance of America’s Rosh Chodesh Shevat Conference and Seudah which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 22, 2023, 29 Teves 5783, 1:00PM at Yeshivas Bris Avram, located at 113 Remsen Avenue, Monsey, New York 10952, where our chaver Rabbi Aharon Mandel serves as Rosh Yeshiva.
The Rosh Chodesh Shevat Seudah is devoted to educating our choshuva rabbonim about the vital service that Yeshivas Bris Avram provides Klal Yisrael. This Yeshiva is renowned for helping to foster and to create strong rebbe-talmid relationships. As a result of this relationship, the talmidim accomplish impressive growth in Torah scholarship. Since the start of the Ellul Zman, the talmidim have made a siyum on the first perek of Meschtas Makos and have also mastered the first volume of Piskei Hilchos Shabbos authored by the renowned posek, Rabbi Ephraim Padawer.
One of the great hallmarks of Yeshivas Bris Avram is the school’s vision of talmidim traveling the United States, visiting wonderful communities and interacting with Yidden throughout the country. Besides strengthening Yiddishkeit in America, this important experience helps to foster and inculcate into the Talmidim Achdus and Ahvas Yisroel.
At the seudah, our chaver and father of our esteemed host Rabbi Tzvi Mandel, rabbi of Khal Bnei Yisrael, will address us. Rabbi Yaakov Klass, our Presidium Chairman, will deliver the Administrative Report. Our Vice-President, Rabbi Joseph Salamon, will be the Chairman of the Rosh Chodesh Shevat Conference.
Please make every effort to attend this important Rosh Chodesh Shevat Igud/RAA Conference, as is our custom important topics will be discussed.
Please remember to complete the Gemara you have chosen to learn for our Chai Ellul Annual Siyum HaShas.
On behalf of the Igud/RAA Presidium and of the Bais Din, I extend greetings of Torah.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik
Executive Vice-President, Rabbinical Alliance of America
