Please mark your calendars for the Rabbinical Alliance of America’s Rosh Chodesh Shevat Conference which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 26, 2020, 29, Teves 5780, 9:30 AM at Kamenitz Bais Medrash, located at 1111 55th Street, Brooklyn, New York, where our Chaver Rabbi Aron Glick is the Rabbi.
Rabbi Aron Glick also serves as the Director of Sharey Ezer, an organization dedicated to tackling the Off the Derech (OTD) issue which sadly is currently plaguing the frum community. The focus of this Rosh Chodesh Shevat Conference will be a workshop on 1) OTD children, the causes and the ways to prevent it and 2) the rov’s role in supporting the parents, guiding them through this crisis and connecting with the youth in his kehilla.
Please make every effort to attend this important Rosh Chodesh Shevat Igud/RAA Conference. As rabbonim, we need to know how to approach and work with the children in our community who are OTD.
