Am Yisrael Chai, Shalom al Yisrael, Chaveirim Kol Yisrael, Achdus,
Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
We all need each other. We must rid Sinas Chinam.
We must find goodness in each other.

“Redemption Will Happen When We’re All Together”

By: Rabbi Shimshon Chaim Nachman Seltzer, in conjunction with Rabbi Menachem Binyomin Paskesz and Rabbi Yisroel Zilberberg. Seidenfeld Edition. Published by Shaar Press, Distributed by Mesorah Publications, Ltd.

Page 569. Nitzavim” If your dispersed will be at the ends of heavens, from there H, your G, will gather you in and from there He will take you.” “The words” from there He will gather you in” seem sufficient. Why does the Torah add, “and from there He will take you?

To understand this, we need to know why Klal Yisrael went into galus in the first place.

We’re in galus because of sinas chinam: baseless hatred of one another (Yoma 9b). The only path to redemption is for there to be peace and love between all members of the nation.

The Torah therefore states, “He will gather you in,” He will make peace among Bnei Yisrael and we will be gathered together. “ And from there He will take you,” out of galus.

The only way this galus is ever going to end is if we make peace with each other. Hence the two expressions: one referring to making peace with each other, and the other referring to the redemption itself.”

May we be zoche to have a blessed year filled with much happiness.

Sincerely, Rabbi Yehuda Blank
