NYC will reimburse some nonpublic schools for security guard expenses and the application deadline is May 15, 2021.
To be eligible to participate in the program, schools must meet the following requirements:
- Must be nonpublic
- Must be nonprofit
- Have 300 or more students in any combination of grades Pre-K through twelfth grades only
- Have been assigned a Basic Educational Data System (BEDS) Code by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
