It is a treasured Jewish custom to honor the departed by reciting a special Kaddish prayer three times a day for eleven months after passing. Jews of all types of religious affiliations and commitments recognize the importance of ensuring that this prayer is recited on their behalf. If people do not have a child able to recite Kaddish three times a day for the full period, the Igud HaRabbonim can arrange for a rabbi to say it on behalf of the individual so that every Jew will receive the benefit of this sacred prayer.
For this kindness, the organization asks for a charitable donation of $1,000 so it can continue its important work on behalf of the Jewish community.
